Jesse Thomas did exactly that through his State of the Internet video.
The video highlights the incredible growth of the Internet and technology that we are all experiencing by providing us incredible statistics on social media, social networking, email and the Internet.
We have extracted some of the most intriguing figures shared in the video:
- As of September 2009, there are 1.73 billion Internet users globally
- There are 1.4 billion email users, and on the average we collectively send 247 billion emails per day; of which 200 billion of those are spam
- Facebook gets 260 billion page views monthly, which equals to 6 million page views per minute and 37.4 trillion page views in a year
